My Commitment to Transparency
I'm Gareth Scott, and I run SabaiFly single-handedly in my spare time whilst working 60-72 hour weeks as a healthcare professional. In my day job, honesty with patients isn't optional—it's essential. I hold myself to the same standard here. This policy explains how I use AI tools and how I ensure the quality and authenticity of everything on this site.
How I Use AI
Research Assistance
AI helps me gather and organize information about flight routes, visa requirements, and travel regulations. All facts are verified against official sources before publication.
Content Drafting
AI assists in structuring and drafting content based on my research and personal experiences. Working long shifts means I don't always have time to write everything from scratch, but the information and experiences are always mine.
Editing & Refinement
AI helps with grammar, clarity, and structure. However, the voice, opinions, and personal experiences remain authentically mine.
Translation Support
AI assists in translating content into multiple languages. My wife assists with the Thai translations, and I check Spanish where I have some proficiency.
Human Oversight
I personally review everything on SabaiFly before it goes live:
- All AI-assisted content is reviewed by me personally
- Facts are verified against official sources and my own experience
- Nothing is published without my approval
- 35+ years of travel experience informs all editorial decisions
What AI Does NOT Do
- ✗Create personal experiences or memories—these are 100% mine
- ✗Form opinions or recommendations—these come from my real experience
- ✗Make editorial decisions—I decide what gets published
- ✗Publish content autonomously—every article requires my approval
Personal Content & Biographies
Personal stories, biographies, and first-hand accounts on SabaiFly are based on real events from my life. When AI assists with editing or structuring personal content, I clearly disclose this. All names mentioned are real (surnames may be withheld for privacy), and all events described actually happened to me.
My Commitment to Accuracy
I strive for 100% accuracy in all content. Travel information, visa requirements, and flight details are regularly updated and verified against official sources.
